In today’s busy world, more people are seeking quick, noninvasive ways to reduce fat. Methods, such as liposuction involve dangerous surgical risks and downtime and can be painful, while dieting and exercise do not necessarily remove fat from targeted areas. Laser weight loss procedures are becomingly increasingly popular, but not all of them are the same. How do UltraSlim and Cool Sculpting compare? Both are two noninvasive fat removal methods that are frequently considered, but they have some key differences.
Cool Sculpting uses a cooling modality to cool fat cells to 39° Fahrenheit, causing them to rupture. This is followed by their absorption and secretion by the body over a period of time.
While both Cool Sculpting and UltraSlim are noninvasive ways to eliminate fat from the body, Ultra Slim weight loss has distinct advantages over Cool Sculpting.
UltraSlim is a patented fat removal procedure that uses a specially-developed red light therapy, called PBM, or photobiomodulation, to remove unwanted fat from targeted areas. The light causes cells to create a port in their membrane, allowing fatty acids and triglycerides to escape. It is the only low risk body contouring device that is FDA-cleared for the immediate reduction of fat and skin tightening. It even tends to be more affordable than other weight loss procedures.
Are There any Side Effects to Cool Sculpting or UltraSlim?
Side effects of cool sculpting can include a slight tugging sensation, stinging, pain or aching at the treatment site. After treatment, temporary redness, along with bruising, swelling and skin sensitivity can occur at the treatment site. Paradoical adipose hyperplasia at the treatment site can result in the enlargement of, rather than the reduction of fat cells. The only way to remove the cells at this point is to undergo surgical Liposuction.
UltraSlim, on the other hand, has no known side effects.
What is the Effectiveness of These Treatments?
According to a report published by Harvard University, data collected from more than 1,000 people who underwent CoolSculpting, suggested fat loss in treated areas by an average of 25% after a period of 12 weeks.
Ultra Slim patients can realistically expect to lose from 1 to 6 inches in the first hour of treatment. However, additional weight loss can be expected with additional treatments if the treatment guidelines are followed, and a heathy, balanced diet is consumed. Those patients who have a higher metabolic rate are prone toward better results.
